Skirmish at Eustaste (aug 11, 1776 – aug 12, 1776)

Description:

Col Williamson's militia attacked, defeated and destroyed the lower Cherokee towns as follows: Keowee, Sugar Town, Tugaloo, Ostatoy, Brass Town, Soconee. Williamson also destroyed the village's supply of corn and food stuffs.
