Skirmish at Oconore (Oconoree) (aug 4, 1776 – aug 8, 1776)

Description:

At Oconore, Col Williamson's militia attacked and defeated British Indian agent Alexander Cameron and a large group of Tories and Esseneca Indians. After the defeat, Williamson destroyed the town and provisions consisting around 6,000 bushels of corn, peas, and beans.
