"Patagonia Rebelde" (nov 1, 1920 – jan 10, 1922)
Description:
Also called "Patagonia Trágica" (Rebel/Tragic Patagonia), was a struggle led by anarcho-syndicalist workers on strike in the National Territory of Santa Cruz.
It originated from the economic crisis given at the end of the First World War, causing the price of wool to drop, seriously affecting the sheep farms in the southern Patagonia region, mainly in the province of Santa Cruz.
Between 300 and 1500 workers died
