Massachusetts Circular Letter (dec 29, 1767 – nov 17, 1768)
Description:
The Massachusetts Circular Letter was a statement written by Samuel Adams and James Otis Jr and passed by the Massachusetts House of Representatives in February 1768 in response to the Townshend Acts. They Furthered colonists beliefs that they should not have to be ruled by British Parliament and that they need to make a change.
