Description:
The Revenue Act of 1764, also known as the Sugar Act, was the first tax on the American colonies made by the British Parliament. Since there was such strict enforcement of this act, it affected economic gain of the individual colonies, setting fear and anger in colonists this led to a multiple of future issues including the British tea party
