The Luddites Oppose Industrialisation (sep 3, 1700 – sep 3, 1820)
Description:
The Luddites were a group of people who opposed the fast-paced industrialisation of The Industrial Revolution because they believed it took away from their specialised positions and economy. Foundations of the group began in the 1700s but were most notable in the 1811 -1820s. People formed large groups and broke machinery after peaceful agreements were declined.
