Description:
The northern Mesopotamian empire that grew out of the Old Assyrian period following the expulsion of Amorites and Babylonians. This period is marked by the Assyrians breaking the subjucation of the Mittani Empire. Declined some during the general bronze age collapse.Added to timeline:
