The Decline of the Ottoman Empire (apr 3, 1880 – jan 21, 1920)
Description:
By the end of the 19th century, the Ottoman Empire became increasing weak. A shift in European travel hurt the Ottomans (traveling directly to Asia, cutting out Muslim middlemen). Europe and France aided the Ottomans and they were scared that if they didn't, Russia would, and then Russia would have way too much power.
