Description:
This was a rebellion by Chinese peasants during the Qing dynasty. Taiping leaders were very influenced by Christianity, and they even captured Nanjing preaching words of public education, rights for women and the redistribution of land. It was very costly in terms of life, and the Qing rallied an army supported by the scholar-gentry
