Berlin Conference (jun 24, 1884 – jan 5, 1885)
Description:
This was a meeting in which European powers had to notify one another of their intentions to take control of a certain area. This was a response to the scramble to get African land, but indigenous people were not represented in this conference. The entire continent was divided up by 1885 (minus Liberia and Ethiopia)Added to timeline:
