"Britannia"
Roman England & Wales (jan 2, 43 – jan 1, 449)
Description:
"Britannia" becomes a province of the Roman Empire, comprised of modern England and Wales, minus Cornwall. The southern Brittonic tribes happily assimilate into Roman culture, whereas the northernmost and Welsh areas were prone to uprisings and had to be heavily militarised, due to both this and attacks from the Picts living in what is now Scotland.
