Description:
At the start of 2022, the Omicron variant quickly became the dominant strain of COVID-19 in the Springfield community and around the world. During this surge, Greene County had its first day with more than 1,000 reported cases.By March, cases had slowed significantly and the state of Missouri began to lift its head from the COVID-19 emergency phase of the pandemic.
