Finland (nov 30, 1939 – apr 9, 1940)

Description:

HM and his team (affectionately named operation Icewall) arrive just as the soviet invasion is commencing and fight alongside the Finnish against the USSR. Meanwhile, Liz had travelled from Sri Lanka to London having received word from Jesus of hobo goings on in Europe. After a short couple days there waiting on information, she flew to Finland, to aid operation Icewall (and report that RB's activity in Poland was very much evident up until a couple weeks ago where he disappeared).

Despite losing all members of the original team save 2, operation Icewall was relatively successful, and the Soviets did not conquer Finland (however HM was displeased to discover they had granted the USSR any territory in the peace treaty).

After this, Icewall mourned their allies and enjoyed a moment of respite and happiness. When news of the Nazi invasion of Denmark and Norway reached them Icewall departed for war once again (minus the injured Henry Carpenter, who, side note, fell in love with the country while fighting there, and would later fall in love with his future wife whilst recovering from his injuries).
