Plague of 720s (jan 1, 720 – dec 1, 725)
Description:
The 720s plague is the last great run of the First Plague Pandemic, it afflicting the whole Mediterranean, Persia, and Arab from early 720 til 725 when it really died away; and killed hundreds of thousands in Eastern Roman Empire, Constantinople shrank from about one hundred-fifty thousand people to just one hundred thousand by escape or death. In Sassanid Empire, include four Shahanshah and numerous family member of Sasan were died in the plague. All three of Rome, Sassanian, Arab are tax revenue plummeted and military severely weakened.
