The Muromachi Period (jan 1, 1467 – jan 1, 1573)

Description:

The daimyo got more power like policing and collecting taxes. That meant that shoguns had less power and they became weaker. Due to that the next few decades was a continuous "civil war." The Emperors of this period were Emperor Kõmyõ and Emperor Yoshimitsu. There was another war (The Onin war) which was fought to try and restore the power to the Emperor again.
