Description:

- Fell in love with his squire, who was banished but came back after Edward I's death. Got married to an Isabella but gave him her wedding jewelry.
- Robert Bruce, renegade king of Scotland, captured Edinburgh.
- 1314: Tried to get Edinburgh back but was defeated in 1315.
- The Earl of Lester, head of the Council, took over.
- 1327: deposed and killed by Isabella and Mortimer and his army.

John of Gaunt was his brother
