Description:
- Married Matilda's daughter, Eleanor of Aquitaine
- Owned almost all of France
- Laid the foundation of the English Jury System
- Raised new taxes (scutage) from the landholders to pay for a militia force.
- Had Thomas Becket, bishop of Canterbury, murdered because he wanted the Church to be over the King.
