Dollar Diplomacy was a U.S. foreign policy which was expanded by President William Howard Taft during his presidency.The foreign policy was the use of United States economic influence to protect and extend U.S. commercial and financial interests in a region.
Dollar Diplomacy would be applied in Nicaragua and China, however, it was somewhat unsuccessful in both countries.
