Inca Civil War (jan 1, 1529 – apr 1, 1532)
Description:
The Inca Civil War was a conflict over the inheritance of the throne of Huayna Capac amongst his sons. The 2 sons, Huáscar and Atahualpa, significantly weakened the Inca Empire with this war, making it much easier for Pizarro (who invaded shortly after Atahualpa won) to capture and kill Atahualpa and topple the empire.
