Yuri Gagarin was born in Klushino Russia on March 9 1934. He launched into space from the Baikonur launch site. He was the first man in space. He was the first man to orbit the Earth. He gave Russia the beginning head start and lead in the space race. Yuri gave the world an open view of why we will continue to engineer new pathways into the future. (mar 9, 1934 – mar 27, 1968)
