Franklin D. Roosvelt's presidency would become the only president to serve four terms and because of this, the 22nd amendment would pass, declaring that "no person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice."
Nonetheless, Franklin D. Roosevelt was popular among the American people due to his New Deal program (see time period)
Franklin D. Roosevelt presided over WWII, authorized Executive Order 9066 which ordered Japanese people to be sent to labor camps.
