Description:
During this time, Edward VI repealed Henry's Six Articles and laws against Protestant heresy and sanctioned clerical marriage and communion with a cup; removed images and altars from churches; Justififcation by faith was also taught, transubstantiation was denied, and 2 sacraments were recognized; a series of agreements which effectively established the teachings of the reformers as the doctrinal basis of the Church of England; later overturned during the reign of "Bloody" Mary
