Description:
- A young Anglo-Indian Henry Vivian Derozio who taught at the Hindu College inspired pupils to think freely and rationally and question everything --> radicalism --> not long-lasting
- drawing inspiration from the French Revolution
- Derozio is known for his passion for journalism. He founded the “Indian Magazine” in 1826. He was also associated with “Indian Gazette”, “Kaleidoscope”, and “Parthenon"
