Description:
-76,000 Prisoners of war were forced to march 65 miles to the confinement camps by the Japanese Military.-The prisoners consisted of 66,000 Filipinos and 10,000 Americans
-After the Pearl Harbor Attack, Japan attacked many areas in Asia. The Philippines defense went badly and the survivors were force marched into captivity
-The soldiers were deprived of food, water and medical attention.
