Description:
The Japanese army feared the threat of China´s unification. This led to the invasion of the Manchuria city of Mukden.The Japanese used a minor attack that damaged their railways as an excuse to invade Mukden.
Reinforcements arrived from Korea 3 days later and expanded their invasion into Northern Manchuria.
