Description:
The Crisis magazine is the official publication of NAACP. It was created in 1910 by renowned historian, civil rights activist, sociologist and NAACP co-founder W. E. B. Du Bois as "a record of the darker races".
The Crisis published many of the leading voices in African American literature and politics and helped fuel the spread of the Harlem Renaissance in the 1920s
