Life of Simón Bolívar (mar 2, 1783 – mar 31, 1830)
Description:
Simon was a revolutionary leader in Spanish South America. He originally opposed freeing the slaves, but he later realized that he could use them to his advantage. He defeated the last of the Spanish armies in 1824. He then tried to unite a confederation of Spanish colonies, but it didn't work. This lead to chaos surrounding constitutions and lack of organization resulting in dictatorships.
