Locarno Treaties (jan 1, 1925 – jan 1, 1926)
Description:
In 1925 Gustav Stresemann signed the Locarno Treaties, guaranteeing not to try to change Germany's western borders with France and Belgium. As a result, in 1926 Germany was accepted into the League of Nations.
Stresemann reverse some of the terms of the Treaty of Versailles, particularly those concerning reparations and Germany's eastern frontiers.
