Description:
-colonists buy goods only from England
-sell certain portion of their products to England
-any imports from non-English goods into English ports and pay a fee
-prohibited colonies to manufacture a number of goods that England already produced
-didn't work that well, b/c smuggling was easy
-colonists didn't protest aggressively b/c they were dependent on England for trade and military protection
