April 11, German 196th Division moved north. Battleship Warspite and aircraft carrier furious joined the Home Fleet which continued unsuccessfully to find the German force west of Norway. April 15, British troops landed in the Lofoten Islands in northern Norway in response to German invasio (apr 10, 1940 – apr 15, 1940)
