Description:
Michael Sattler was a former Benedictine monk who became prior of St. Peter’s monastery in the Black Forest. Later in his life, he left the monastic community to follow Zwingli, became associated with Manz and Grebel. Even later however, he left Zurich to travel and spread the world, and together with a conference of Swiss Brethren, produced a short confession of the common faith written in German.
