Jim Crow Laws (jan 1, 1865 – jan 1, 0)
Description:
Jim Crow Laws were laws that limited where non-white Americans could work, eat, travel, etc. Even though Black Americans were given the full equal protection of citizenship, the supreme court Plessy V. Ferguson determined that separate facilities were equal. Society was segregated for a 100 years because of this.
