Description:
-Increased power of the emperor by launching military operations into Fujian, Guangdong, northern Vietnam, Manchuria, and North Korea
-Ending policy of appeasing Xiongnu because he thought this method failed (since they sometimes still attacked)
-Exploration and conquering of modern Gansu and Xinjiang in order to improve access to horses, leads to Silk Road
-Government monopolies on salt, iron, and alcohol to help pay for wars against Xiongnu (controversial)
-Confucianism adopted
