Description:
North Korean People's Army (communists) went across the 38th parallel which divided the Soviet-backed Democratic People's Republic of Korea to the north and the pro-Western Republic of Korea to the south. On South Korea's behalf, U.S troops entered the war. The armistice, signed by North and South Korea ended the war.Added to timeline:
