European Exploration (jan 1, 1400 – dec 31, 1799)
Description:
The European Exploration or the Age of Exploration was primarily spurred on by three reasons. The first and arguably most influential was Money. The early explorers and their patrons wanted to find new and better trade routes to the east. They were also hoping to find new goods and sources of gold. The second was the desire for glory and recognition of this grand adventure. Finally was the desire for some to spread religious beliefs to those around the world.Added to timeline:
