Description:
The Allies operation was led by Major General John P. Lucas. The generals were aware of the risk of the operation such as Clark. Eventually after a week of fighting Lucas was relieved of his duties and sent home when Major General Lucian K. Truscott took over. They fought at Monte Cassino and the Allies won that and eventually the outcome of the battle went in favor of the Allies.Added to timeline:
