Known as the "arch-heritic". Marcion held gnostic tendencies in that he believed the new testament and old testament represented two different gods. From this, he favored the new testament god, even going as far as rejected the old testament as a whole along with eliminating Jewish elements from the new testament (due to the Jewish origins of the old testament).Added to timeline:
