European Recovery Program
Primary plan was to rebuild the allied countries of Europe and repel communism after WW2.
Equivalent to $180 billion was donated to help with the recovery of the European countries that had joined in the organization for economic cooperation and development.
They incorporated elements to the plan that would make the USSR joining virtually impossible due to it conflicting with their wants and needs
