Description:
Mother takes in boarders including a Mt. Murphy who was the theatrical stage manager for Cummings Stock who soon suggests Gladys and Lottie be given 2 small roles.
Gladys plays a boy and a girl and Lottie is given a silent part in the Silver King while their mother plays the organ for these productions.
Gladys acts in many melodramas with Toronto's Valentine's stock company finally playing the major child role's in the silver King.
She capped her short career in Toronto with the starring role of Little Eva in the Valentine production of Uncle Tom's cabin
