The Munich Conference (sep 29, 1938 – sep 30, 1938)

Description:

The Munich agreement (pact) was a settlement reached by Germany, Great Britain, France, and Italy that permitted German annexation of the Sudetenland, in western Czechoslovakia. The agreement averted the outbreak of war but gave Czechoslovakia away to Germany conquest.
As history later shows, this agreement did not work because Hitler wanted more.
