1930-1939 - League of Indians of Western Canada & Indian Association of Alberta (oct 1, 1930 – oct 1, 1939)

Description:

Dion was the vice president of both these organizations. The league was the original organization but they changed the association name to accommodate a more appropriate title. They were typically the same, sharing a common goal of wanting changes in social and living conditions and in the Indian Act itself. The new association that was formed under Dion included developments in the system because of the changes and progress made over the previous years.
