The Second Console Generation (jan 13, 1976 – jan 20, 1992)
Description:
In this generation there was the Atari 2600, intellivision and the Atari 5200. This was important because it introduced basic AI Simulations and ROM cartridges for game storage so that they didn't have to store everything onto the hardware, it also introduced games that had the ability to span multiple screens and could display 1 to 4 bit graphics with up to 3 audio channels. This is important because we still use outside storage today and we also use a lot of AI nowadays.
