Description:
13th: Slavery abolished.
14th: Natural born peoples are citizens with rights. All residents are counted as whole persons rather than 3/5.
15th: Made voting discrimination based on skin color illegal.
These Amendments were largely ignored until the Civil Rights Movement in the 1950s-60s.
