The Revolution of 1911 (oct 1, 1911 – jan 2, 1912)

Description:

In the year 1908, the empress, Dowager Ci Xi died, having the throne open for Henry Pu Yi also known as the "last emperor" leading up to The Revolution of 1911. While Sun Yat-sen was travelling the revolt had no leader, but the government was too weak to act on. The Qing dynasty crumbled, opening the way for new political forces. The Chinese adapted new ways of thinking and living because the Western influences forced them to. This is one of the reasons leading to cultural changes.
