Feminism is the advocacy for women's rights on the basis of equality. A common misconception about feminism is that it states that the female sex as fundamentally better and that the male sex is lesser, whereas it is truly about equality, it is about not letting gender put a limit on something everyone should be allowed to do. To us feminism is when people of any sex, age, or background advocate for equality between the genders and we chose the second wave. (mar 1, 1985 – oct 1, 1995)
