Sparked by the Defenstration of Prague in Bohemia, war between Protestants and Catholics (Hapsburgs) largely took place in Germany.All Protestants were ordered to leave Bohemia by 1626.
Gustav Adolphus was the Swedish king and a staunch Lutheran. He defeated the Catholic League, defeated various German territories, and resisted Ferdinand II and Wallenstein.
