Description:
Lydia was a region in western Anatolia that was positioned in the trading routes between the Mediterranean and Asia. They spoke a distinctive language said to be part of an Anatolian group of Indo-European language. Their capital was at Sardis. They had three dynasties that flourished during the Late Bronze Age. The Lydians were commercial people who were first to establish commercial shops.
