Description:
William Sherman was a Union general who believed in ¨total war¨. To destroy all military as well as civilian resources in hopes of dashing their will and ability to fight. They burned down everything in their path and shot hundreds of peoples livestock. Their goal was to destroy the will of the people living in Georgia so they would stop fighting for the Confederacy.Added to timeline:
