- Shyamji Krishna Verma set up the Indian Home Rule Society and Indian House(a center for Indian students, a scholarship scheme to bring radical youth from India) and also brought the journal The Sociologist
- Revolutionaries like Savarkar and Lala Harayal were also guided by Shyamji.

Paris and Geneva
- Madam Bhikaji Cama brought the journal Bande Mataram

Berlin
- After 1909 when Anglo-German relations deteriorated, Virendranath Chattopadhyaya chose Berlin as base to work
