Peter Behrens (apr 14, 1868 – feb 27, 1940)
Description:
was a German architect and designer. He was important to the modernist movement, and several of the movement's leading names worked for him in earlier stages of their careers (including Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Le Corbusier and Walter Gropius).
